With nearly two decades of experience in design and small business ownership, I’ve honed my skills of empathy, clear communication, and creative problem solving across a wide swath of client projects and diverse personality types.
My greatest joy comes from creating order out of chaos, finding beauty in the broken-down, and restoring peace to restless people and places. I find the greatest satisfaction in work that removes friction and pain points from people’s lives.
My Comfort zone
My ideal work environment includes a diverse team that inspire and challenge each other as well as intentional, focused independent work. I love a good mix of collaborative brainstorming and then time to crush challenges on my own. I’m naturally introverted and a self-starter, so know how to put my head down and get stuff done, but I charge my creative batteries with the sparks of genius that happen in group ideation and problem solving sessions.
Iām at ease interacting with managers and stakeholders at all levels, and enjoy working together with experts in other disciplines.
I have been working solo and in small teams for many years but I thrive on a cross-functional team where I can multiply my impact. I’m at ease interacting with managers and stakeholders at all levels, and enjoy working together with experts in other disciplines.
My Skills and Strengths

My other interests
š Together with my wife I’m currently remodeling our 100+ year-old house, and I’m enjoying the challenge of making improvements that don’t just meet the needs of my family but will also serve well anyone that might own this home after us. We feel a strong sense of stewardship here, to honor the historic integrity of the house, and to honor the people the house will serve for many years to come.
šļø When I’m not working, or working on the house, I get outside to the mountains and rivers of Montana, where I find rest for my soul.
